Rochester Regional Health Foundations
Our Foundations Office helps make high-quality healthcare available and accessible to everyone in the communities we serve by securing grants and philanthropic gifts to support system growth and improvements. This is critical funding that allows our health system to provide a consistent model of care that embraces and optimizes the latest research and technology, employs the top medical minds, introduces new treatments and innovative programs and offers care with kindness and respect.
Caring about the sustained growth of healthcare in each of our communities is a vital element to our collective future and something that we must accomplish together. As a nonprofit health system, Rochester Regional relies on each and every philanthropic gift, no matter the size, to help ensure the continuation of quality projects and programs throughout our system.
Regional Impact, Local Care
The Foundations Office helps fund initiatives across Rochester Regional’s entire network of more than 150 locations, beginning with our five hospitals:
- Rochester General Hospital
- Unity Hospital – Greece
- Newark-Wayne Community Hospital – Newark
- Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic – Clifton Springs
- United Memorial Medical Center – Batavia
The Campaign for Rochester Regional Health
Rochester Regional Health is embarking on a new system-wide comprehensive campaign, Because Care Matters. This multi-year fundraising effort is built around our bold vision to transform healthcare. It is our goal to ensure that every person in our region has access to the quality care they deserve and the resources they need to enjoy a better, healthier life.
Fulfilling this commitment requires strategic growth that focuses on modernizing our facilities, strengthening our services and broadening our reach. All of which are designed to provide the right care in the right place at the right time – at every stage of life and in every stage of health.
We believe that our ambitious campaign to raise $300 million will lead the evolution of healthcare in our region. To succeed, we need the support of our many friends and neighbors, grateful patients and their families, and volunteers and staff. A campaign of this size will have a significant impact on our health system, the City of Rochester and the region.
We are excited about the journey ahead and hope that you will join us in shaping the future of healthcare in our community.
